Pros
Collaborative and Caring culture- Supportive leadership and cross-functional teams
Ownership and autonomy- I have worked with multiple product-oriented companies that are stakeholder-driven. After working here, I can proudly say that the ideas are not only accepted, but you get the opportunity to implement them.
Learning exposure- 1:1 exposure with the customer not only helps gather the problems but also helps with releasing a fully functional feature that drives the growth of the enterprise.
New Challenges every day- This helps me grow, as this is a fast-paced SaaS company, every day is a mix of customer issues, bugs, priorities, long-term goals, next sprint planning, ideation, etc. This is a benchmark for growth that does not inhibit creativity.
Remote Work flexibility- With work from home flexibility and an open PTO option, this allows a great work-life balance, which is very important for me.
Cons
It can take time to understand the product. Because of the nature of the technical capabilities of the product, it can be challenging and time-consuming to understand the product before you understand gaps and challenges to further contribute as a product manager.
Limited product training- The process is still evolving as the company is growing.
Process is still evolving- Like many growing companies that are fast paced, documentation and other process improvements are still evolving.
