Pros

SUPPORTIVE MANAGEMENT Management really listens and cares about all employees. They truly have your back. I think this may be the only company I've ever worked where HR put employees first. There is little to no corporate politics and direct communication is encouraged. Management does not expect people to just "do their job". They want to hear ideas, even if those ideals are contrary to what management expects or has planned. You may not change their mind, but they definitely listen and consider what everyone has to say, no matter how far down on the totem pole one might be. PEOPLE Despite the vast majority of employees working remotely, it is definitely a team environment. People are very supportive of one another. OPPORTUNITY So many opportunities to learn and grow. Whether it is gaining experience in an unfamiliar area, learning something new, or furthering your career. Management encourages staff to take risks, but true to their motto, they "will not let you fail" NEVER BORING Though the number of projects can be overwhelming at times and may not be for the faint at heart, it is very typical to find yourself working with the latest technology , novel innovations and interesting people. If project work is slow, then you may find yourself researching and writing an article to be published or preparing a conference presentation.

Cons

The usual cons associated with working for consulting firms: Fast paced and not always predictable. Agility is definitely a necessary trait in the consulting world, since one moment you might have little project work and the next day could turn around be handed a huge project that will take up close to 30 hours/week. This can lead to work/life balance problems for employees. Tracking time and pressure to meet "billable hour" quota
