Pros
I am a Senior Client Manager going on 5 years with PADM. I am respected and treated well by the owner, my co-workers, and my clients. I have trained with several new employees and I would encourage them each to learn our proven, successful procedures and client nuances first then suggest positive improvements if you have them. We are a tight group and our team works extremely well together. We look after each other and we support each other. I was opposed to a very new person telling me, that “we weren’t doing things properly” or that she was going to “fix our team” or that she would rather work on a budget because it was more interesting than what I was trying to teach her. On occasion, personal problems do seep into the workplace, but I don’t think that your personal problems should interfere with your job performance every day when you have only been here a week or two. The owner and manages respected me enough to listen to me when I reported her to be toxic, an extremely bad fit, and may even be “dangerous” and that she would not ever be an asset to our team or to PADM.
I receive a good base pay and receive overtime as a salaried employee, which is exceptional. The owner is constantly treating us to all kinds of wonderful lunches and dinners and keeps snacks and drinks on hand for all of us to enjoy.
Cons
Workload can be extreme sometimes. Too much candy around!
