Pros
- Management has an open door policy and lends an ear to new ideas. They take criticism well and are always working to improve the product, processes, and culture.
- Free lunches are provided bi-weekly on Wednesdays and it is encouraged that you sit with different people from other departments that you might not have regular contact with. It's a great way to encourage communication and comradery in the office.
- The fridge is filled with soda and beer at all times. As long as work is getting done there is no looking down on someone who pops open a beer at 5pm on a monday!
- The engineering team is effectively using SCRUM methodology to consistently deliver product features. Due largely to this, technology is growing rapidly positioning Permission data to be a leader in adtech and lead gen.
- This is an honest company! They have enormous amounts of valid and useful data that other companies would drool over but they never resell it. They do everything ethically.
- Most departments, with the exception of sales, have a high retention rate. Over 15% of employees have been there 8+ years and people have even left and come back.
Cons
Clients drive demands often times resulting in high priority feature requests that disrupt the engineering work flow.
