Pros
- Freedom as a fresher to explore and learn new things on your own. Only the end goal of a campaign is told to you. How you reach there is your choice and so you reasearch a lot and work on it without distraction. (Until you lose motivation that is) -COO is driven and a hard worker (but has the small mentality issue). Appreciate that he really wants to take this company to big heights but he doesn't know how to do it alone. He can be really rude sometimes too and cracks lame jokes - Work life balance is fantastic. No one asks you to work more than 7:30 hours a day. Permanent work from home. After a point of time every employee I know got bored and stopped working even during the 7:30 hours and simply kept hubstaff on. (Read cons section for more about this :P) - Salary On-time every month
Cons
- No structure in the organisation or work culture - Hires only freshers so that they don't have to pay big salary. This leads to the freshers having no direction and not knowing what to do. The most experienced person in the entire company except the HR and Management had 1 year of experience. - Crude and Old Methods being followed in SEO including keyword stuffing for rankings and building huge amount of low quality backlinks - Management does not trust the employee at all and uses software called hubstaff to monitor what the employee does during work hours. It takes random screenshots of the laptop every 5-10 minutes and your search history. Proper hiring of genuine workers and reporting in hirearchy will solve issue of employees wasting time. - Employees (genuine ones) are usually motivated in the beginning of the job, but seeing how bad the company is internally, they lose motivation and start cheating on hubstaff by changing screen every 10 minutes and moving the mouse. Almost every employee does this as far as I know. - Horrible amount of holidays. 0 paid holidays during probation and you can choose only 10 holidays in a year for religious festivals. Saturday is working too. Basically slave culture. - No new client onboarded and SEO activities for all 3 existing clients had been maxxed out. Last I heard, still only those 3 clients and no new ones. - You can go days without talking to co-workers since there is no internal communication at all. Morning meeting for SEO team was started but went bad in the end. - The founder and CEO is more into politics than looking after the company. Hardly ever see him working for the company. - Human Resource have the smallest mentality. - Not a single women in the workforce. Don't know if it is due to mentality of the management or if they genuinely haven't found any female talent (doubt if that's the case)
