Pros

None..... although you did get paid eventually

Cons

Everything mentioned on the other reviews is true... Paid late with no warning and then made to chase payments. Micro-managed by CEO who treats people no better than paid servants and speaks to them ever worse. Senior management have no direction or idea how to run a start up. Changes in product made over night with out any notification to staff.

Pros

Very few. Casual dress is a plus. Office location is nice. Good food in neighborhood. SF start-up in a hot and trendy industry, social influencer marketing.

Cons

where to begin? 1) employees are treated like contractors 2) no investment in employees 3) employees must bring/use their own computers, phones, office supplies, water 4) the only company I have seen in 20 years that provides "tap water only" to guests and employees 5) no business card, benefits, 401K, bonuses, equity 6) Employees often asked/suggested to work til late at night or weekends on non-priority or work that has no deadline or reason not to be done at a regular hour. 7) employees/contractors checks late, bounce, bills not paid, vendors not happy 8) no processes. no HR. 9) upper management takes credit for almost everything done below them 10) No training, onboarding or almost any communication to new employees 11) very under-qualified mgmt making critical decisions 12) Passive aggressive/abusive mgmt style. Have witnessed employees crying and running off

Pros

-cool industry -social media still has a lot of potential -you're literally writing the history books when you're in this industry -HQ located in SF SOMA

Cons

-everything said in the other reviews is true -no commitment to employees -employees are not treated like human beings (everyone consistently not being paid on time, disregard for employees' personal time, etc) -bugs/projects are tracked via email. Yes, email. No implementation of any tools to manage bugs or projects -products are built without thoughts of longevity or customers in mind -barely any documentation exists for any of the products - no manuals, whitepapers, or even sales decks -lack of company culture...but for the one that exists, it's a "vicious culture". Employees hang onto information without passing any of it on so that they are guaranteed job security.
