Pros
~Good benefits (PTO,Sick pay, Life/Medical Insurance, 401k) ~Above minimum wage. ~If you keep your head down, and ignore all the wrongdoings, and cons right below, you get a decent paycheck every 2 weeks. ~Penumbra's innovation in the Medical device industry has saved countless lives.
Cons
~Your experience in the company is pretty much a lottery ticket depending on your management/department. ~Can have a lot of downtime, or working 8hrs straight. ~Management is notorious for favoritism ~You get penalized for complaining about coworker harassment. ~HR is not there to help you. They are there to protect the management. ~A lot of cliques, it feels like high school all over again. a lot of childish drama. ~No diversity, 95% of the employees are almost in the same racial demographic, which means management discriminates and creates toxic environment especially if you're part of that 5% ~"Rules for thee but not for me." Company policy does not apply to management. ~Politics over hard work. You're more likely to get rewarded if more people "like" you than actually working hard, and if you do work hard you're more likely to be taken advantage of. ~Car theft, I've seen at least 4 people get their vehicle stolen from the parking lot despite having "security guards"
