Pros
- The product (hardware and entertainment) is still the best in the industry and is absolutely beloved by its users - Great work life balance - Great benefits and the salaries are generally industry standard for big tech
Cons
- Decisions made by former leadership team through the pandemic haunt the company today and will likely continue to embattle the companies for years. That combined with some of the cons below will make hiring incredibly difficult because the lack of a dependable upside on equity (even at the current low price) - Lack of ability to innovate in a way that drives growth. The tread, guide (strength camera), and rower either all sold very little or will sell very little because they appeal to very few additional customers beyond the exiting user base. - Top down decision making to a dangerous level. Most people blindly do what Barry asks or wait for his approval before making even small bets - No real collaboration amongst teams leading to constant prioritization requests and lengthy discussions to make even the smallest of decisions.
