Pros
I started at Pedia Manor in 2011 and have seen it grow into an organized, well-run company that takes care of its staff and kids. The only place that I've heard of that has actually lowered employee contributions for health insurance while improving coverage since Obamacare was introduced.
I've gotten a raise and a bonus over the past two years.
Pay is competitive with what I was offered locally, but the flexibility is amazing. Administration are understanding and I can get off whenever I need, and only worked 6 hours on Thanksgiving two of the past three years and was off Christmas and Christmas eve.
Cons
Not a good job for the primary wage earner in a family unless you're in supervision or management... and there are only 6 of those jobs.
Limited opportunity for advancement.
