Pros
Good work environment. Peacehealth is doing quite a bit to support physician wellness. When I’m off, I’m OFF. I am rarely called outside of work. We have an inbasket clinician that covers us when out. My colleagues are smart, supportive and take good of patients. Clinic manager is very responsive and takes care of problems immediately. My staff gets along well and is here to work and take care of patients. EMR is Epic and I’m using DAX copilot, a life changing AI that does my notes. I’m content here. I make good money and have a good work/life balance. Eugene is a great place to live and raise my kid.
Cons
It’s a big organization so there are sometimes decisions that are made without input such as closing sleep medicine and ophtho clinics.
