Low tech - Anonymous employee Paystratus Group Employee Review

Very low tech. They have a huge monolith application that very few people understand. Once you push a change, it takes the pipeline 55 minutes to complete. Given the complexity, I can't see how they can compete with other startups since it's so difficult to make changes in the codebase. Very slow pace. If you are early in you career, the market is rough now and you might not have a choice, but since they do things in a very custom way, the things you will learn at Weavr will not be useful anywhere else. So if you do have a choice, might be best to give this one a pass. Last but not least, they had a round of layoffs at the end of 2024.
