Pros

Cons
This company has been extremely dishonest after I spent a week training, watching modules about how their values include honesty, respect, and "humankindness". They did not display any of these values in my time here - quite the opposite on all counts. I was told my territory was one specific area - in writing, multiple times, prior to starting as well as up to the day of my termination - and was working in that area. They asked me to help out in another area (well over an hour from where I live) and when I refused, they terminated me without notice based on my "unwillingness to cover the territory required by your employment agreement". I was able to respond with the multiple written forms of communication which state my territory was the one I covered. As a contractor, you have little legal coverage and they are well aware and took advantage of this. On my last day after I had just received notice one hour prior of my termination (through the grapevine - management never even so much as sent me a message that anything was problematic) I was at the office dropping off my trunk supplies respectfully and professionally, and when on my way out I said a polite goodbye to someone who had trained me the week prior, the HR woman shouted down the hallway "I need you to leave now!" and stormed after me, as if she was escorting me out of the building and said "I don't need you causing a ruckus." I was truly shocked by the behavior of every single person involved in this. I would highly avoid this company, especially as a contractor, unless you are willing to do whatever they want at any given moment and are willing to risk termination without warning. I will note that I am an exemplary employee and did my job here and everywhere I have worked thoroughly and more importantly with honesty, kindness, and respect for patients and colleagues alike. Further, I was employed with this company in the past and they are aware that my behavior is professional and exemplary as a physical therapist. Since then, management has changed and taken a complete 180 for the worst. I had been warned by past employees who left the company about this 180, but I didn't understand how bad it could be.
