Pros

I have been very lucky with the choice of my manager. She is the nicest human being and would let me do anything I request - as long as I deliver. The company has a flexible policy, so it makes sense. I still work more than 50 hours per week, but I do it with pleasure and when I want. They have an incentive plan that used to be so much easier to get. Now it's 9 monitoring visits per month. Not happy (used to be 7). Pay is ok. Like every company, they always try to save money, but if you are a good negotiator and resources allows, you can stretch it. 3% increase based on merit every year. Not everyone gets it. You can get assigned with a lot of projects, if that is your desire, or less if you cannot manage too many. Business travel policy is very generous, if compared to another CRO I worked for.

Cons

I initially was assigned to a therapeutic area I was not too keen on, business needs. I eventually liked it but my end goal is to work in oncology. I will soon be hitting 1 year within the company (September), and I have requested a promotion in January (1 year and 5 months). I was told that promotions are just given in July, which I will not be happy about. So we will see.

Pros

Well trained managers that empower you, truly listen to you, and only do well if YOU do well/ they provide resources and definitely offer development opportunities to those who want them AND have demonstrated they can maintain their scoped, regular duties at a high level of quality while working on special development projects Also unlimited RTO in US

Cons

no bonuses and too much focus/emphasis on how many years with *Parexel*, as opposed to how many years total you have been in the industry (ex doing site management at another CRO or Sponsor group )

Pros

The only pro is that they offer remote work.

Cons

I would give zero stars if I could, but since I can’t, I’m forced to give one. They seem to have layoffs almost every year. Their US-based pharmacovigilance team was also affected in 2024 and 2025. It really feels like a hire-and-fire culture.
