Pros
You get to work remotely which helps with work-life balance. Dynamics vary from department to department as it does everywhere, but most people are willing to help.
Cons
A lot of departments are understaffed, and you will see people quit but there are not enough people getting hired as replacements so management relies on employees to fill the roles as a "temporary solution" that often feels permanent causing burnout and frustration. A lot of management is dismissive in the challenges of the roles and the amount of workload. A lot of big issues never get fixed.
