Pros

Hours are good and pay is competitive for the work. Co-workers are very easy to deal with and the office has a very "laid back" atmosphere.

Cons

Management is very very condescending and company is understaffed. They'd rather give employees 75 different jobs in one and not compensate you then to hire new employees. Senior management does not know how they want to run this company. They would rather pay thousands of dollars to just save hundreds. This is not an exaggeration into the cons of this employer. As I mentioned above, this is not a stable company. They do not have an active HR representative to speak with when necessary and on most pay dates, you are either not paid on time or your paycheck is incorrect. This has happen consecutively for months at a time. There is a consistent language barrier on each level of management, so it is very hard to communicate.

Pros

There are absolutely none to list.

Cons

Papermax is a division of Asia Pulp & Paper, one of the most environmentally and financially negligent corporations on the planet. Just Google their environmental history to get some idea of what this company is about. In addition, they've defaulted on more than 12 BILLION in loans to creditors.....and they couldn't care less. The environment at this place is the worst I've ever seen. They treat employees like trash and dump you when they've burned you out. Most of the employees are Indonesians and Chinese who have no other options due to visa issues. DO NOT WORK HERE UNLESS YOU NEED A PAYCHECK FOR A FEW MONTHS. You have been warned.
