Pros
Decent job right out of college to get a couple years of experience on your resume. With rare exception, everyone is very nice and easy to work with. Management was flexible and understanding with work schedule and work life balance. When available 9/80 schedule made up for some of the companies shortcomings.
Cons
Low pay compared to similar positions elsewhere. Old ownership before buyout of Landworks was very cheap and some of that sentiment held over. Low pay was also offered up as reasoning by management in exchange for understood job security just before mass layoffs. Management has their favorites and if you aren't in the "in" crowd, you are 100% expendable. Management (for should I say miss-management) allowed entire team of employees to be idle for months waiting for work that never came while others diligently finished large project or went out onsite for lucrative contract work, only for both teams to be nearly completely laid off.
