Culture is an "all in or nothing" mentality, if you don't accept it as 100% then you have to be very careful how you interact in manager and above interactions and meetings. Nothing you do will ever be good enough to please, very few "good job" convos The internal promotion is very dependent upon culture over skill/results. IF your mindset doesnt match your higher ups or the company values perfectly, you will have to keep "developing" until it does match.
