Pros
Coworkers are friendly and helpful, there are free employee meals, and scheduling was usually pretty flexible.
Cons
You are put in a position where customers feel almost obligated to be rude to you. Restaurants are consistently understaffed and employees overworked. Rushes are the worst part of the day. Management constantly practices open favoritism. My manager constantly had double standards that seemed to only apply to a few employees. Store visits from upper management added unnecessary stress. During these visits, if one spoon was out of position or one grain of rice was on a table, then you would be subject to the full wrath of whatever area coach or regional manager was coming to visit. Managers were often disorganized and disoriented, ordering the wrong supplies and taking out their frustration on hard working employees.
