Pros

Great benefits, large company, company car, gas card, some decent training.

Cons

Where to start... lost in the market, clueless as to what customers want and need, stuck in an old "ultra-rugged" mindset that no longer resonates with the market. Selling for Panasonic is likely similar to what the mainframe folks at IBM experienced in the 80's and early 90's- selling a platform that's being taken over by new technology- in that case, client-server. They suffered- badly, and so are Panasonic's sales reps. Panasonic puts all their eggs into ultra-rugged. But when you can purchase a new device, log into it and be exactly where you were when you left off with the damaged device... and within a few minutes thanks to cloud technology... there ceases to be value in paying two-to-three times the amount for an ultra-rugged device. People get that now... the market gets that... prospects definitely get that... only *Panasonic* doesn't seem to get that. And if they don't get that soon... the world is going to see a very, very different (i.e., smaller and less relevant) Panasonic than in the past. My advice to job seekers is to avoid companies that don't get it- instead, work for those who do. Life's just better when you're swimming *with* the stream instead of against it.
