It is always hard when an employee is not the right fit. We are very picky about our peers, and our culture is very purposeful and important to us. We strive to provide employees with a great place to work and the benefits we feel are important. If you are looking for free ipads and beer on tap, this is probably not the right place for you. If you are looking for great health care, including dental, vision and orthodontia , and paid maternity leave, paid paternity leave, 401k matching and a flexible workplace (among other benefits) then Palo Alto Software could be for you. Our workplace is all about empowering employees and focusing on results. This much autonomy can be hard for people and not the right culture for them. For people who want more hands-on management, and have a hard time in an environment where there is a lot of freedom to make decisions, our culture will be hard on them. We work very hard to be a great place for people to work at, and have many employees who have been here for over 10 years. We work really hard to make sure we hire people who are the right fit. We aren't perfect and are always striving to do better.
