Pros

Cool product that came about at the right time.

Cons

Josh Strebel is a monster of a human. Before #metoo was a thing, he was pushing the boundaries of what was societally acceptable for a male leader. He was extremely rude to female staff often berated people for making mistakes instead of productively helping people to grow in their roles. And his wife often caused serious drama in the office. I tried to help advise him in growing the business, but to no avail. Like with a few other male leaders I've met over the years, he simply didn't know how to quell his ego.

Sadly, this false/fake review appears to be some form of a personal attack against myself and my spouse specifically. 1 - We've never employed/hired/paid an "advisor" of any sort at any time, let alone for 3+ years in the Phoenix area as this 'reviewer' states. 2 - The small number of employees who have worked longer than 3 years at our company, are still currently working at our company. (The reviewer states they are a Former Employee of 3+ years) 3 - As a 100% remote team, we don't have a physical office, for there to be any drama to be created in. 4 - Our turn over is so low, and our company is small: if any of this alleged behavior was remotely true - We would not have a company to speak of - The people we employ are entirely too smart, competent, and savvy to let anything like this fly. 5 - The rest of this person's "review" is equally false and malicious. No Idea how Glassdoor verify's someone actually worked where they say they worked - in this case that verification appears to have failed.

Pros

Many tech companies try to stretch an idealistic company culture over top of their actual company culture. This can often create a discrepancy between "what we say our company is like" and "what working at the company is actually like." For instance, many companies say they respect your work/life balance but, when it comes down to it, they don't. At Pagely, our culture is more than just idealistic hot air. Leadership really cares about creating an environment that fosters happy, healthy employees. Really. The thought process is that if Pagely takes care of its employees, they'll be motivated to take care of Pagely's customers. So far (almost 10 years!), it's working great. The company is profitable and growing. I'm about mid-way through my career so I've worked enough to know good companies from bad ones. Pagely is the company I've been looking for and I don't plan on leaving. They value their employees, they respect their employees, and they take care of their employees. Unfortunately, that's fairly rare these days. I consider myself lucky to work here. Every employee is expected to act as a leader. This means that it's important to self-manage but it also means that you're free to contribute where you feel you can make the most impact. You're in control. It's empowering, it's great for me personally, but if you're the type of person that wants to be told what to do, this probably isn't the company for you. As employees, we're held to high standards (but not in an oppressive or exploitative way) and you'd be working with some of the top people in their field.

Cons

I haven't found any noteworthy cons.
