Pros
Flat organisational structure Very Intelligent founder Very Grand goals
Cons
They tend to vitiate terms in the agreements with contractual employees. The company has an unsustainable approach to achieving it's strategic objectives. The founder has a terrible attitude and the management team only do his bidding (his way or the highway) Feedback from the founder is usually demeaning and insensitive. Direction/objective is not clearly stated/described for tasks assigned to individuals. The management team Is very insensitive to the plight of team members (Zero Emotional intelligence) No leave, No Pension, No HMO, No confirmation (only your agreed pay is "guaranteed") Work during weekends Zero respect for individuals free time Most of the staff members are unhappy with the way the business is run Long meetings and too many of them Management doesn't take responsibility when they are at fault instead blame you for not following up on tasks that they requested you complete. Performance Management is very subjective Late salary payments The moment you express any grievances with the way the organisation has treated you, they will seek to replace you. CEO/GM of the company is on a part-time basis. Strategic objectives seem to be looking for ways to knockout partners Had this terrible policy where they subjectively deducted salaries in the name of not meeting performance. Goals for tasks are always shifting giving management the wriggle room for subjective appraisal. 90% - 99% is a "C" according to their performance management policy.
