Pros
I met some of the most talented people at this company.
Cons
It has been quite some time since I worked for this company, and it's disappointing to see that little has changed. I've stayed quiet for a long time, but I feel compelled to share my experience in hopes that it helps others make an informed decision before accepting a position here. I joined this company early in my career, genuinely excited and inspired by the brand and its then-CEO. I had followed her journey through high school and college and admired the image she portrayed: a self-made, hardworking, fun-loving entrepreneur. The opportunity to work alongside someone like that felt invaluable. Unfortunately, the reality was very different. The public persona of kindness and positivity was not reflected in her actual behavior. I witnessed a stark contrast between who she was on camera and how she treated her team behind the scenes. What appeared to be a vibrant and empowering culture was, in reality, one of fear, micromanagement, and constant criticism. There was no structure for training or development. As a young professional, I was simply expected to figure things out on my own. The CEO’s mood determined the atmosphere of the office each day, and any form of genuine feedback was met with reprimand. Employees were pressured to like, comment on, and reshare all social media content, and even forming friendships with coworkers was discouraged. Burnout was inevitable. I saw passionate, talented individuals enter the company full of excitement for the industry, only to leave disheartened — some even left the field entirely. It was heartbreaking to watch. The CEO does have an incredible story, but it seems she has lost sight of the values she once stood for. Her decisions often come from a place of emotion rather than empathy or leadership. If you are early in your career and seeking mentorship, growth, and a healthy work environment, I would advise you to proceed with caution.
