Decent job - Diecast Operator Pace Industries Employee Review

I received a well-rounded experience as an intern at Pace. The pay, people, and work environment were all Fantastic.

Pace could not hire me or the other intern at the end of the year-long internship due to budget cuts.

Union presence (Latrobe)-paid holidays, wage protection, vacation days, reimbursed for safety shoes and prescription safety glasses

Medical benefits-carry significant out of pocket costs Environment-extreme temperatures in summer and winter/extremely dirty Mandated overtime constantly 8hr days 7 days per week Management-either oblivious or just doesn't care about the workers Building and equipment- aging and in serious need of investment Pace Group-has been bought out and is currently selling off individual plants 2 have been confirmed shut down
