Pros

- good entry salary. - decent training depending on your trainer and how fast you learn. - decent work life balance. - good family values only if you are recongnised by fellow staff members. - if you are experiences its a easy job - all equipment is supplied by the company

Cons

- moving up in this company is extremely difficult, they will choose "friends" instead of actual skilled staff members. - management does not value loyalty, skill and experience. (seen many times first hand) - will "force" staff members to write reviews on various websites. - "most" management/head office staff do not understand day to day working of actual retail store. - difficult and unfair target system. - management will avoid the "difficult" questions form lower staff members. - quick to judge mistakes. - no communication between management staff. - you may get quickly confussed from different staff and managers telling you different answers. - management does not follow their own rules. - management will always blame the sales staff instead of making positive changes. - company has a OHS manager but OHS rules not enforced in retail stores.

Pros

Everyone is pretty chill, good for a second job.

Cons

The micromanagement and daily operations here are highly inefficient. To simply clock in, you have to open the entire store, drawer, and safe just to get the company iPad. Shifts are scheduled poorly expect a mandatory 1-hour break for a short 4-hour shift, which just wastes your day. Worst of all is the heavy camera surveillance. Management tracks your breaks to the minute via camera, meaning you have to flat-out refuse to serve customers if they walk in during your break time. If you try to do the right thing and serve them, your break gets cut short with absolutely no flexibility.
