Pros
Probably the best aspect of my career at PTC has been the ability to move around in the company. Once you're here for a while, lateral moves are encouraged and I've learned a lot about the software business while occupying different roles.
Cons
PTC seems to still have some problems with ageism. The sweet spot for your career at PTC is between the ages of 35 and 55. If you're above or below that range, you may not be perceived as relevant or core to the business. Promotions outside of that range appear to be much harder to get.
