Pros

The obstacles I dealt with working for PSI gave me skills that me land better jobs with more serious, reputable employers in healthcare.

Cons

There’s a reason this company CAN’T keep employees. There’s a reason they have a revolving door of people that come and go. They’re obviously paying for positive reviews. Don’t waste your time & skills working here. PSI is the dollar general of healthcare employers.

Pros

Flexibility in work schedule and placements for a good work/life balance. Autonomy

Cons

Poor communication, lack of leadership, no opportunities for communication/team building with other SLPs (why not a Teams or chat channel to share experiences, resources, opportunities, mentor)? PTO offered is insulting (number of hours worked per week is number of hours of PTO you get for the year) and with snow days, breaks, etc, makes earning a living difficult. Benefits are limited. Company encourages staff to apply for unemployment during summer and holiday breaks.

Thank you for sharing your thoughtful feedback. We appreciate hearing both what works well and where we can improve. We’re glad to know that schedule flexibility and autonomy have been positive aspects of your experience. We also recognize your concerns regarding communication, PTO, benefits, and opportunities for collaboration. As we strive for continuous improvement, we have even more exciting initiatives planned for the future. It is our ongoing objective as executive leaders to ensure effective communication cascades down to our teams. Although we acknowledge that perfection may be elusive, we remain dedicated to our efforts in this regard. We value the dedication of our SLPs and are committed to fostering a supportive work environment that meets both personal and professional needs.
