Pros

you can sort of make your own schedule, but are always on call, so it's just okay. It is good to be able to work from home mostly.

Cons

The pay structure is garbage. The company takes most of the money for themselves. The brokers don't make enough on transactions to make it worth it. The company makes you follow up endlessly serving their customers who are mostly not actually interested in anything and their system is all messed up. Their main lead generating tool, the waiver wire doesn't even show most of the available buyers. It's a total joke. You have to go hunt for buyers manually and spend hours to do that, then hours more to follow up with them all each day and most of them are just looking. It's just way too much for most people. Many of the customers get annoyed because the company makes us bother them so much. We are severely under paid and under appreciated. I can't wait to move on to something else. I would never recommend this job to anyone.

Pros

Nobody does it better than POP. With the ups and downs of today's economy, the only business that seems to carry on is POP. Because of their leadership and values, they take care of their employees and their customers.

Cons

Not anything I would change

Pros

Could be profitable if willing to put in a lot of miles each week for a few hundred per sale.

Cons

Commissions are shared between multiple people and departments.
