Cons

You have to be able to juggle a lot of balls in order to keep up with the growth of business and team size.

Pros

Love that generalists (like myself) and creativity is welcomed. You'll have the opportunity to work alongside super creative, smart, thoughtful, and appreciative team members. I joined in the midst of the pandemic and formed stronger bonds with international colleagues than I ever have with in-person 100% of the time teams at past companies. I've been really impressed by the strength of the Pointr team's ability to communicate and be transparent; and their willingness to directly address challenges and (most importantly) TAKE ACTION. For folks that are new to location tech, training is readily available so you're able to train at your own pace (and quickly). I've grown a ton since joining and I appreciate the opportunity to run in this new space! (Disclaimer: I'm a 10+ year B2C Experiential Marketer currently working to build Pointr's brand presence in the B2B world, managing webinars, podcast features, and events)

Cons

WARNING: If you're not a team player, you often take all the credit and pass blame, you don't enjoy problem-solving and accountability isn't your thing.... need not apply.

Pros

Very nice peers. Nothing else.

Cons

The tech is always having problems. Very stingy with pay and benefits. Company is ~10 years old and has no 401K match. The CEO is certifiable. He micromanages everything, makes completely unreasonable demands, and lacks the self-awareness the reason turnover is so high might have something to do with him.
