Pros

You have the opportunity to make a lot of money. The company is always growing and has been for years, so there is a lot of opportunity for career growth. Over the past few years, PLS has become more of a career landing spot rather than just a stopping point. The offices are relaxed and welcoming, to help offset the stress of the job. Management is awesome and extremely approachable, and with their experience, they always have an answer to any problem I may be facing. PLS has grown to be one of the largest logistics companies in the nation and now works with several Fortune 500 companies. In the worst case scenario, if I were to lose my job there, I would have a solid resume with years of success in sales and cold calling thanks to PLS.

Cons

The work can be stressful, which takes it's toll on you. You have to work 1 or 2 Saturday mornings (8am-12pm) a month.

Pros

The Colleagues and relationships you make with your co-workers. Building a book of business, and fast paced environment. Unlimited Growth Potential.

Cons

The direction the company is headed in and the toxicity of an everchanging management structure. As someone who spent almost a decade with PLS; I can say fully and honestly, they do not care about you. This is a company to build experience with and move on from. If you are a $20K rep for more than 6 months, after you roll out, they will move off of you. You will be terminated with no second thought--other reps will poach your clients and potentially ruin any relationships. Furthermore, management tends to play favorites--If you show growth potential, they will feed you, but the moment you fail on one opportunity--you will be turned over. This is not the job for anyone who questions their own ability and work ethic. PLS Hires in classes - they will hire 30-40 people at a time, and in 3 months, 4 to 5 people of that class will remain. The turn over is extremely high and there is no job security. Finally, even if you are a top performer, they will not hesitate to get rid of you.
