Pros
There is unlimited potential working in the logistics industry and PLS gives all the necessary tools to succeed. The top performers on the brokerage side make over $20k in commission a month! Plenty of reps make over $80k. Very nice office with top notch equipment. I have received great support from my office manager, his superiors and other departments in the company. First year you get 10 vacation days and 2 personal days off. If you are successful here, you can make a career at PLS or you will be recruited for sales jobs in other industries because of the sales experience gained. People get on glassdoor who did not make the sales quotas (which are NOT unreasonable), most likely due to poor work ethic and bad sales skills. A lot of people hired are not cut out for sales. Sales is challenging and has higher turnover than any field. Take the negative reviews with a grain of salt.
Cons
The training could be greatly improved (they are currently remodeling the training program). It is a tough gig with long hours, if you want to be the best you need to spend extra time at the office. Office can be distracting at times. The benefits could definitely be better. Not enough incentives and contests imo. Some people take horrible notes in salesforce and don't follow company protocol. Maybe a office lunch or happy hour here or there. Working Saturdays (every other until you hit goal) is a DRAG and kills employee morale after working a long hard week.
