Pros

Direct operational management was good to work with and understanding when it came to scheduling needs.

Cons

Although dispatch was not over me at all they treated me like they had control over everything I did. They would try to dictate routes and timing even though they were not familiar with the area I was in or the needs of the facilities. They also didn't understand patient care at all so if there were delays they would freak out. I would get random calls throughout the day from dispatchers looking to be confrontational about the smallest things. I was doing a high volume of cases, had good relationships with the facilities, and the other techs in my region, but for some reason dispatch made this job so frustrating and difficult, they are the reason that ultimately I decided to leave.

Pros

Excellent work/life balance Autonomy to perform your duties Good mix of experienced and greener staff to learn from/with Honest two-way communication with leadership Hands on learning both with clients and prospects

Cons

While it doesn't pertain to me specifically, working 100% remote can be an adjustment to someone not used to that setting.

Pros

This was my first job out of college, and I love it. You get to perform mobile x-ray to different facilities. Every one of my coworkers I've met is very understanding and helpful, we have each other's backs. With this job I've gotten to discover more of my state that I might not have gotten to see if I had a stationary job at a hospital. The health insurance is pretty good, and my dentist office even nodded saying "you've got good insurance." The company is very flexible to work with you to set up a schedule. I also feel really appreciated in this job field.

Cons

I don't really have any complaints about my job. Only cons I can think of are if you don't care for driving, mobile x-ray does have you going to different facilities, but you are provided a company vehicle and don't have to worry about gas. Your workday will also depend on what the facilities order, so you may have slower days or busier days depending on them.
