Pros
Pros?? Not much really... Good location if you want to live in London.
Cons
PDD lies on the budget end of consultancies offering clients a cheaper alternative to more prestigious organisations. The company is struggling to keep afloat financially and resorts to desperate smoke-and-mirror tactics like hiring in people just for the day when clients visit to make them look bigger than what they really are. Extremely greedy partners rely on opportunistic money-grabbing off clients and are not particularly concerned about delivering the best quality. It’s a very well known fact that staff are underpayed and staff turnover is high- it’s essentially a revolving door, one-in one-out. Projects timelines are intentionally miscalculated to create the impression that more can be delivered in a shorter duration which results in shockingly sloppy work and an unwritten expectation that staff should work for long hours and in panic mode. It’s an ok place for the short term until you find somewhere better.
