Pros

Good to start an armed career or any career as a security officer. Clock in is easy. If you're on an active site, you'll get more experience than Police Officers who are in quiter towns. Everyone is pretty polite and you'll feel welcomed to the team! A nice small company full of hard working people. They have there own dispatch system! Plenty of opportunities for overtime all though some managers will get mad if you work overtime. Really do make a positive difference in the community.

Cons

PAY. If the company wants to keep good Officers they need to pay better. POLITICS. Too many managers, drama, ego trippers, and lack of communication. TRAINING. Zero training, I mean almost Zero. There's only one competent (established) trainer in the whole of Maryland. Other officers who could train can't of don't. Consider yourself blessed if you get the opportunity to be trained. Needs more trainers. EQUIPMENT. Officers need to proper tools to succeed. In Maryland, I was not offered a body camera or taser, not even for rental. You have to buy pretty much 100% of your equipment. And that means well over a THOUSAND or two dollars if you want to have all the proper equipment for armed security. Not enough experienced officers to cover any shift for call outs and vacations. Needs more staff.

Pros

They are nice enough, some members of the family are not pleasant people. The owner, she is nice enough. Performative though.

Cons

Unorganized. And this falls on support staff and they are punished. Top executives push for unrealistic numbers to maintain their lifestyles while quickly dismissing hard workers without notice.
