Got to learn a lot, exposed to multiple projects, did the whole process from doing takeoffs to estimating and closing out the bids. Supervisors are friendly and willing to help you if you have any questions including full time coworkers

Cons

Estimating as an intern takes a lot of time to balance between school and work. In general in construction keeps you busy, Do expect to work long hours even as an intern

Civil Division - Long hour for nothing. Work for work. Stock dividend from Canada makes it hard for your tax return.
