Pros

Small, friendly Team; nice office, great working culture Given a lot of autonomy with enough support when and if required Fantastic and very approachable GMs / Owners Very pro ERP system

Cons

I have found it interesting but some may find small team and getting involved in other aspects of the business not their cup of tea

Pros

Choose life, not this company.

Cons

The working environment has been particularly challenging. There is a significant lack of essential equipment, which makes it difficult to carry out tasks effectively. I also did’t feel I was receiving meaningful guidance or learning from my supervisor, and I’m often left without the support I expected from a placement. I’ve even been asked to take my own attendance, which I find concerning. Additionally, there were very rigid and uncomfortable workplace dynamics, including strict rules about eating lunch together, which added to the pressure. While I’ve been given large responsibilities—such as sewing toiles for the entire collection—the experience feels more exploitative than educational.

Pros

The product itself is beautiful, and its commitment to sustainability is the strongest aspect of the brand.

Cons

Once you’re inducted into the business, it quickly becomes clear that the company is run inefficiently, with severe micromanagement and a lack of trust in employees to do their jobs. Decision-making is highly centralized, leaving little room for managers to take ownership, which ultimately stifles any potential for growth or scalability. The workplace atmosphere is demotivating, with a culture of distrust where key information is withheld, making it difficult to perform effectively. Collaboration among team members is actively discouraged, as the founders prefer to maintain control over all aspects of the business rather than empower employees. High staff turnover is a recurring issue, and past employees are frequently criticized rather than lessons being learned from their departures. Instead of fostering professional growth, the company tends to extract employees' experience and industry contacts while restricting how they operate. There is little acknowledgment of internal shortcomings, with blame often placed elsewhere. Unfortunately, this isn’t a case of a company in transition—after 22 years, these issues appear deeply ingrained. If you value a supportive, growth-oriented work environment, this may not be the right place for you. Be mindful of the potential impact on your well-being.
