Where do I begin. The leadership team is a major problem, specifically at the COO level. There's a top-down, authoritarian management style that doesn't translate well into a business environment. Decisions are consistently delayed, accountability is low, and the tone in which leadership communicates with employees is simply not acceptable in a professional setting.
The owners are engineers by trade who have taken on sales and marketing functions without the expertise to do so responsibly. This leads to overpromising to customers and underdelivering, which ultimately falls on the engineering team, who are routinely working excessive hours to compensate for commitments that should never have been made.
