Ah, OxBlue. Where the KPIs are high, the base pay is low, and the morale is even lower. If you’re considering a sales role here, buckle up: you’ll be judged more on how many times you breathe into the phone than how much revenue you bring in. Seriously. Management tracks AE "touches" like it's an Olympic sport, and you are the curling stone. AEs are held to higher activity metrics than the BDRs, but with none of the dialing tech that would make it manageable. The pay? Picture this: $1,500/month commission clawback, commissions only on hardware (which is maybe 30–40% of your deal), and a base salary that would make a fast food manager wince. And don’t get too confident about your paycheck. BDRs don’t even see commission unless they hit quota, which leads to "creative" meeting setting that occasionally crosses into morally gray (okay, charcoal) territory. Territories don’t exist, so every new deal is a land grab. And by “land grab” I mean constant turf wars with senior reps who seem to have laid claim to half the continental U.S. And despite management’s claim that territory disputes are "quick and easy" to resolve, they often drag on longer than your days of 100+ dials. Promotion? Only if you’re patient enough to wait for the next ice age. Management has openly admitted there's no realistic way to become a senior AE anymore, even with strong performance. There’s a growing line of high-performers stuck in limbo, staring longingly at the mythical “promotion” that may never come. Let’s talk "benefits": You’re told you have four weeks of PTO, but that includes sick time and you have to buy the last week out of your already laughable paycheck. Who says corporate greed isn’t creative? And the cherry on top? A CEO email justifying subpar raises by saying "Atlanta inflation isn’t that bad compared to the national" Bold strategy. The sales floor was recently moved into a back office dungeon with cubicles designed by what I assume was a blindfolded toddler. They sell you on "culture," but the Christmas party is beer, wine, and despair. “Fun Fridays” are a thing, but sadly no amount of ping pong can distract from the feeling of being undervalued and underpaid.
