Pros
Salary package was decent - but only after I declined their initial offer which was 40K less than my going rate. Laughable that they low balled so much.
Cons
* My role was predicated on a lie. I interviewed for a Senior Network Engineer position. During the course of 3 interviews they 'twisted' the role into having me join the Managed Services department with a 50/50 split into project delivery/engineering. In the first month I did 100% MS work only. I called management out on it. They responded they needed me at MS for another 3 months while they onboarded/trained more MS 'offshore' staff. I gave them another month to see if they'd honour their word. We reviewed again and I got the same excuses again, but this time with the added twist of 'there isn't enough project/engineering work currently'. I told them I'm not doing another minute of MS work and to honour the original job description when I applied for the job - they exercised their probationary exit clause. Sayonara. * Documentation - All over the place. No-one knows where any documents are. Each person stores documents in different Sharepoint folders for each customer. * Onboarding - Here, read this document. Congrats, you are an expert now with this customer. * My MS manager didn't bother to even reach out in the first month to see how I'm integrating. When he did finally reach out it was to put me on the on-call rotation.
