Listen to your colleagues - I mean truly listen to them. Do not shrug them off if they have shown they are not happy. Reward staff early on proactive basis rather than reactive basis which seems to be current protocol. This should be a no brainer keeping staff that are looking after huge chunks of your business and making it more profitable and sustainable. Don't sell pension to staff as benefit when it is compulsory by the government. This can only be considered when it is above and beyond the minimum.
