Pros
Great vacation package. Medical and dental. Fruit basket. Great location. Cool product. Monthly happy hours. Small office, got to know everyone. Execs knew you by first name--that was nice. Was able to speak to people across the board.
Cons
Low pay. Work you to the bone. Misogyny,Sexism,Racism by executive management SF PM team was amazing. They were a great group of dedicated individuals who worked really hard. However, upper management made sure to stand in the way of any growth and was a huge factor in the demoralization of the office across all departments. Among the list of [illegal] activities: --There was a terrible NSFW incident during a meeting. The perpetrator was never fired. --All of the women of color were 'laid off'. The office was left with its white employees only. Racism much? --Non-supportive environment, extremely low moral. --Your ideas will be stolen from you and lazy management will pass it along as their own. Someone quit because of this. --Working with really big egos. A lot of disrespect and pettiness from upper management, who made sure to complain against anyone who stood up or pushed back. --I do not recommend the NY office as a positive place to work. --Low Pay: Someone on glassdoor wrote that it was below poverty. That is correct. They hired two new people on salary (white males) and would not pay the brown women their fair dues.
