Pros
I have been working full time at Optym for more than 3 years.
Work satisfaction: Optym provides software solutions for transportation problems. It is challenging as well as intellectually satisfying. The responsibilities and tasks are assigned based on work experience and qualifications.
Organization structure: Optym has a flat organization structure. The CEO, Managers, Directors always have time for employees. They treat employees as friends and family.
Teams: The teams at Optym are very well-knit and have tremendous dedication towards company and empathy towards colleagues.
Employee engagement: Optym management puts in lot of effort to engage employees in satisfying and motivational activities. Be it CSR, conferences, educational tours, team building activities or company retreat, the management makes it all a fulfilling experience.
Health focus: Optym provides good healthy breakfast, lunch and snacks within office premises. The pantry area is always loaded with fruits and other eatables.
Cons
There is work pressure at times. However, this can be overcome through cooperation within development teams and the management. Employees are allowed to custom fit their office hours as long as their teams are alright with it. The weekdays can be tough but weekends are free like any other company.
