Pros
Starting pay was above industry standard. Free beer sometimes.
Cons
I will be more careful because my last review was removed for being too harsh. It was just honest, but I can try to be more polite this time. For the record I quit and was not fired, without even having another job lined up. The place was just that bad. everyone knows this company manages its glassdoor reputation by posting fake reviews and by pressuring staff to post positive reviews. It was one of the first things I learned on one of my first shifts, when staff members were laughing annd making fun of about how they’d been pressured to leave positive reviews by uppers. There’s a reason why they have to lie to make themselves look like a real company. The morale is really low. People are always getting screamed at by the CEO for no reason. People get fired for no reason. Entire teams get cut in half or fully eliminated without anyone explaaining why. Nepotism is intense and unlike anywhere else I have ever seen even in movies. the CEO’s family is always getting roles and responsibilities they’re not qualified for (running teams and departments and side businesses they wouldnt have the education or skills to even be hired into an entry level role in). Its sad to see the right hand men / cowards who do the CEO’s bidding and keep all sorts of secrets from him until he finds out and berates them loud enough people can hear the screaming floors away. It’s a very dysfunctional work environment. The CEO even screams at low level employees. It’s very painful and awkward. Its growth strategy is deeply unethical, bordering on worse. It’s getting worse not better.
