Pros

- Interesting product, interesting market - Smart, capable, supportive team members - Everyone is doing great work (mostly) - OpsLevel is in a new SaaS category that didn't exist until recently. Companies really benefit from using OpsLevel and I enjoy being part of that. - There are some learning opportunities - Working after-hours or slacking while on vacation is strongly discouraged. You'll get a friendly, "OK, now get outta here!"

Cons

- Everyone is very overworked - The culture fell from great to terrible throughout 2023 - culture got worse early last year and *just kept going downhill* - Pay is below (well-below?) market average - There's no freedom. Even if someone has a great idea, there's no time to do it. - Absolutely no sense of community. Zero! I never see my teammates unless one of us personally organizes and pays for it. - As a result everyone works alone. There's no "let's figure this out together" - The founders are great - they know this industry - but their board/advisors may not be giving them good advice about how to run a business. - Fundamentally there's a lack of trust. Decisions aren't delegated down, they're centralized at the top. This doesn't scale and it's not enjoyable.
