Fair-to-generous comp package. Respectful work environment. This company tries very hard to curate a good culture, and I have not worked with a single individual that I dislike in my multi-year tenure here. Not sure that I have ever had a job like this before.
Cons
Needs of market/economy change rapidly. This company has to rapidly adjust to that, presenting challenges to individual contributors. If you dislike change, do not work for a disruptor!

Pros
I had the pleasure of working Opendoor, taking on multiple roles at the company. The culture was great, and management was top notch. The service they provide is unique and I could truly see the positive impact we made on many homeowners lives.
Meaningful problems to solve. Stock upside with right macro.

Cons
996 / hustle culture amongst newer folks. Love having motivated teammates but the comp is B-tier at best (unless you’re the CEO, at 4371x the avg employee)
New product folks are a mixed bag. Some work really hard and are super sharp. Some talk about working hard and take credit for product work from others.
SF office dying through firing and resignations - expect to be asked to visit Miami and Toronto frequently.
Tenured employees seem to be assumed to be low performers
