Pros are decent health benefits and HOOPP pension. Lots of progressive slogans and publicity.

Cons are values are not practiced and the women in charge only promote men to leadership. Lots of super lazy, hostile, and discriminatory staff that get away with anything due to neopotism and favouritism. If you're not in the inner circle, you'll never get career opportunities.

Good pay for secretaries relative to other employers, flexible work hourd

Staff who work for ONA are unionized (SEIU Local 2) but the union was useless in preventing return to office. Staff went from fully remote to 5x days in the office per week, all within the month of April 2022. Meanwhile all the other office buildings in the areas have moved to hybrid work. What are our union fees being used for if you can't even negotiate 1 day remote per week????
