Pros

Good company with strong technical expertise and great platform. Works with reputable clients and has embraced AI adoption quickly and effectively.

Cons

There’s a lot of uncertainty in management decisions. New leaders often come in with their own approach, leading to frequent shifts in direction. This inconsistency has impacted the work culture, ranging from minimal oversight to periods of heavy micromanagement. As a result, the overall joy of working here has diminished. While there isn’t direct pressure to present a positive image, I personally fear that providing honest feedback—especially in things like the eNPS survey—could backfire. That makes it difficult to be fully transparent, even when feedback is intended to be constructive.

Dear Employee, Thank you for the candid feedback and for the opportunity to address those here. We agree the company has gone through some major changes, with decisions from our investors to prepare us for the next phase of growth. Our ELT updates us on those, in Town Halls every quarter of the amazing progress we have made and the road ahead. The changes in our CX (Services and Support) org are a direct reflection of the changes in Product and Engineering, towards Unity. It takes time for a change of such magnitude to settle down and that is what you may be experiencing - the feeling of being “unsettled”. We acknowledge that. When the change is taking strategic shape, it might feel like minimal oversight. When we start to execute on the change, we may feel “micromanaged”, in the form of follow through and reviews. But that is only until the change becomes the new norm. However, changes should not impact transparency or openness. In fact, those are our core values and are always upheld. You should hence, feel free to respond to the eNPS next time. It is completely anonymous, as clarified in our Global Town Halls and On It Sessions in India. Transparency works both ways - we encourage you to walk up to your manager or HR and come talk to us. Isn’t that the culture we are used to? And it is our collective responsibility to uphold this open culture. Thanks again, and looking forward to chatting with you.

Pros

My time at Onit has been one of the most impactful experiences in my Career. The opportunities that have been presented alongside the trust that my leadership has in me/my team to push projects forward has been incredible. The people I get to work with on a daily basis genuinely want to see each other succeed, celebrate wins, help where needed and always encourage each other to grow. Onit's benefits are top of class when it comes to leave programs including parental leave, flexible time off, flex Friday's, and overall work-life balance.

Cons

There is opportunity to enhance our integrations between platforms and reduce manual work
