The CEO and COO are inexperienced and seem to just regurgitate what they read in management books into their company. They are unwilling to take any criticism. The company sells itself on 'machine learning technology to quickly perform background checks'. What it doesnt tell people is that 50% of staff are 'operations' or now called 'service delivery' who call and chase up checks which are supposed to be automated!
The salaries are way below market, but they try sweeten it with equity or options. However, what was promised during the process in terms of equity was never delivered in the legals
