Pros

- Decent work/life balance with the ability to work from home or office in a hybrid environment. - Compensation & benefits that has taken a positive turn in recent years with increased number of Holiday days, unlimited PTO, adequate health/dental/vision benefits. - Most people in non-senior level management are great to work with and care about the job that they do on a daily basis.

Cons

- Company aka "Onbe" has been on a downward slope ever since the merger in late 2019. Everything from company leadership to its priorities have drastically changed for the worse ever since daVinci Payments & North Lane has decided to join forces and become the new Onbe. - In contrast to what the previous two reviews have said (interestingly enough posted on the same day), the leadership team of Onbe has been horrible with primary focus being put on sales, new products and new clients while forgetting the most important piece of the puzzle which is its PEOPLE. When you have folks that been with the company for 5+ years leave without much hesitation, you know something is not going well (to be fair, some have been forced to leave against their own will). - Management encourages people to speak up and express their own opinions and feelings, but as soon as someone does just that they either get completely ignored or worse they are no longer seen around. - With so many people leaving the company, those that are still present are being asked to work double to cover the work for their colleagues who are no longer around. This creates even more stress for existing folks and sets up new hires for failure as the company is then desperate to hire anyone who submits their resume and once hired, they throw the new person in the fire with minimal training or guidance. - There's much more that I could add here as I've been around for quite some time, but the bottom line is that this company has the potential, but at the moment the risk outweighs the potential benefits of staying or joining Onbe in its current state.

Pros

There are some good people at this company. Hybrid 2 days in the office if you live near the office, but can work fully remote if you’re not near an office. Also, free lunch when in the office.

Cons

A once great company has turned into something I don’t recognize anymore. They’ve let go long many tenured employees that have made employees scared of losing their jobs. Great talent eventually leave once they see how awful the Leadership is and how unorganized this company is. They make drastic changes for the sake of change. They are scared of clients and do not back their employees. The CEO seems clueless to what’s going on within the company. Leadership hire friends for other leadership roles and they are not trained on processes or how things work. Teams are not aligned, people are unprofessional, it’s very chaotic, there’s too many chefs in the kitchen, and leadership waste time with useless meetings that take you away from your work. We seem to have many job openings that look great but trust me, it’s not worth it. I’ve had many people ask me about Onbe because they are thinking of applying and I tell them not to. So please don’t waste your time. Most people here are actively looking for new jobs.
