Pros

Engineers create high-tech solutions and see their creations running in high-volume production environments. That's as you would expect but On Point provides engineers with so much more. You'll be given the opportunity to contribute in all phases of product development form Concept to Implementation. Once you've executed your first project at On Point you will know how to truly take a product to market. You'll be much more the a hot-shot coder (which you will also become) but you'll have tremendous business value above your peers.

Cons

You're given tons of autonomy and required to produce. If you need structure and protection for competing priorities, you'll be challenged. Be ready to wear multiple hats, be pulled in many directions, and given the ability to thrive or be frustrated.

Pros

The people who work there are of the highest caliber: smart, respectful, and genuinely care about the quality of their work. No office gossiping or interpersonal friction—true team spirit and folks always jump in to help deliver the best possible product to their clients. They have the largest footprint in the Unemployment Insurance Enterprise Software vertical and have been the leaders for over 30 years. All the C-Level people are very approachable and will happily take a meeting to discuss new ideas. In fact, every quarter there's a "Brown Bag" meeting where the whole company sits down together (and phones in) to discuss sales initiatives, technological advancements made by R&D, and take questions. Very transparent and a great work/life balance.

Cons

The nature of Unemployment Insurance is it ebbs and flows with the economy so the customer demand for enterprise software also ebbs and flows.
